Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your membership and participation in activities organised by the Welsh Motorcycle Association (“WMA”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By joining the WMA or attending any of its events, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Membership

Membership is open to individuals who own, ride, or have an interest in motorcycles.

Members must be at least 18 years of age.

Membership is personal and non-transferable.

The WMA reserves the right to refuse or revoke membership at its discretion.
Code of Conduct
All members and event participants must:

Show respect to fellow riders, the public, and the environment.

Abide by UK road traffic laws and local regulations.

Refrain from reckless, dangerous, or antisocial behaviour.

Follow any instructions or safety rules provided by WMA event organisers.
Events & Rides

Participation in WMA-organised events is voluntary and at your own risk.

Riders must ensure their motorcycles are roadworthy, insured, and comply with legal requirements.

Helmets and appropriate protective gear are mandatory for all riders and passengers.

The WMA accepts no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or damage that may occur during events.
Liability

The WMA, its officers, and event organisers are not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss arising from participation in WMA activities.

Members and participants are responsible for their own safety and insurance coverage.
Media & Photography

By attending WMA events, you consent to being photographed or filmed.

The WMA may use images and recordings for promotional purposes, unless you opt out in writing before the event.
Data Protection

Personal information provided to the WMA will be stored securely and used only for membership administration and communication.

Data will not be shared with third parties without consent, unless required by law.
Termination of Membership

Members may cancel their membership at any time by notifying the WMA in writing.

The WMA may suspend or terminate membership if a member breaches these Terms or engages in conduct deemed harmful to the Association.
Amendments

The WMA reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.

Members will be notified of significant changes via email or the official website.
Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Wales and England.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Welsh courts.
